Glenda KaserThe Northern California Calvary Chapel Women's Retreat was held at beautiful Lake Tahoe again this year, from May 29-31, 2009. Teachings are available to listen to here online, and will soon be available on one MP3-CD for $15, and selected sessions on video DVD for $8 per DVD. Call the church office at 530-587-1711 to order. If you ordered an MP3 or DVDs at the retreat, they will be shipped to you as soon as they are available.

This year's speaker, Tricia Kent has been active in Women’s Ministry at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside for more than 20 years. She serves in the leadership of Women’s Inductive Bible Fellowship and the planning board for Women Encouraging Women. She is a gifted teacher with a heart to see women ignited to study and apply God’s Word in their daily life.

Tricia and her husband Dennis currently live in Riverside, California. They have two children: Wendy, who lives with husband Chris and two sons in Granby, Colorado; and Barry, who lives with wife Audrey and two daughters in Truckee, California. Now that Dennis has recently retired, they are actively pursuing a move to the beautiful mountains of Truckee to be near family.
