The Northern California Calvary Chapel Women's Retreat was held at beautiful Lake Tahoe again this year, from May 30-June 1, 2008. Teachings will be available here soon online, and also will be available on one MP3-CD for $15, and selected sessions on video DVD for $8 per DVD. Call the church office at 530-587-1711 to order. This year's speaker, Glenda Kaser, is a women’s Bible study and retreat speaker who was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She received Jesus as her Savior at 10 years of age. Glenda was married for 36 years and widowed August of 1997 and has two married adult children and five grandchildren.

Glenda has been on staff at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa since the fall of 1997. As the director of Friday morning Joyful Life Women’s Bible Study since 1996, she works closely with Kay Smith (wife of Pastor Chuck Smith), who has led this study for over 20 years, and Cheryl Brodersen (Chuck and Kay’s daughter). Glenda joyfully shared about God’s grace with our ladies.
